RE is typically an inflationary hedge, so the same would happen to anyone holding debt. Even though our gubmint is benefiting by debasing the currency, anyone holding a fixed rate loan will benefit just as much as their mortgages "lose value".

same as last year. high gas prices will benefit homes close in to the city, and are bad for homes far from mass transportation and job centers. i
