Home from work today. Watching CNN I was surprised that every recommendation was to scale out of equities or get out of equities - except for advice to the very young. I've never here them as negative and lack of hope in the near future. That tells me something.

I'm young I don't see why the ticker would be any different for me than someone older-if its going to be down for a long time and your going to be out substantial money for that period its disadvantagous to be in that situation young or old.

they had a big fund manager on this morning proudly talking about how he had "reduced his exposure" yesterday to emerging markets and how that would help his holders. of course, he must have lost his butt. and then the asian markets spurted right away. the other heads nodded in agreement to his wisdom, lol. snort!
