there is a lot of talk about the breakout, but my question to the experienced traders and others of course, aren't june and july months, which should not be taken too seriously in terms of the big picture
the big players will come back in august and if this is a breakout then we will see in august/september
whatever happens in june/july should not be considered a chang in LT Trend, but simply as part of summer trading
isn't like buying into the things the girl is is saying to you while she is drunk ;-)
not taking sides here, this could be a breakout, but i am just surprised how many of the experienced guys seem to be seeing this a clear breakout and change in LT trend
no doubt ST trend is up, but ST trend can change every month
thanks for any comments
and two charts - no predictive value in the charts, but ........

great charts teaparty as always ...and they update!
think the monthly is interesting - five months up, with declining volume each month
btw do you remember your "george soros" chart - a predicted traingle going into somewhere around 2010-2012, do you still have it?

It is easier for those with muscle to move the market to their will when volume is lighter. The second and third quarter have traditionally been lighter volume periods of the year. If there was ever a time to move the market back up, convince the great unwashed that that old boogyman Recession is bottoming out and it's safe for everyone to get back in the water, it's now.
