Last friday, before the close, some trade got printed that made the close on Qs look like it was a lot lower than the actual close... Same thing today.. Its annoying because when you look at % gain from previous day, its completely skewed to this artificial closing value.

On the same note.. Why is it that there's a sell-off in the morning, a rally in the afternoon? Pretty much as soon as europe closes, its rally time? Rally in the middle of the night on Asia, dump in the morning from europe.. rally back in afternoon from US..

Did you also notice that the Q's were DOWN ( -.27 ) on the day while the $NDX finished Up for the day ( +6.16 ) ? Very strange price action . How often does that happen ?

Its not that unusual for them to diverge, because the cash index closes at some point but SPY and Qs print at some later time that may be affected by news..

Whats unusual is when nothing moves in AHs, except for right before the SPY and Qs print, some trade gets registered way below the actual trading value in AHs, that causes the final print for the day to register at this lower value.

I've seen this done before.. its unusual to see this happen so close to each other.. as far as I can tell.

Some sort of desk handoff from what I can tell. Following the futures markets, amazing how prices are frequently near the same levels as the prior day when soooo much seemed to happen intraday in the US markets....

just for grins, let's see what they look like in 24 hrs vs. the screenshot below....

what is going on with futures gap down the last four days are they trying to get shorts to load on, in order for there to be fuel for another move up i have no bias - compq could go for that 1979 or we just sell off
