Toni--IBD did call Monday another confirmation day. I bought SPY again on the open yesterday to reestablish my position as I said I would. Had to pay 0.28 cents more for the stock than I sold it for. So am back in the position again until the uptrend ends. But I want to say again that I am not an advisor and do not recomend anything. You and your friends at your school have to do your own due homework.

As a side note when I opened the traders-talk site this morning I had to click on each answer to a post individually. Very inconvient. Is this something new here, or can I do something to go back to the old way of viewing posts in a straight line down from the original post?

Charles

Charles,
You posted here(above) that you re-entered your position in SPY's on July 14th. (see above for your post on July 15th) because July 13th was another confirmation day. If you are still reading this board could you give us an update on your thoughts? I hope you will start posting here again. First Gary Smith, then you stop posting here. Hope you both change your minds.

Toni

Hi Toni, Sorry for the late answer. Only look in here every 2 or 3 days now. But to answer your question: No change in my position since I posted my re-enter onto Spy in the post you quoted. There are very few changes in my positions. Seldom make over 2 trades a year. When I buy I usually sit for long periods. Sometime for a year. Seldom more than 2 or 3 trades a year. I guess I am the buy & holder or Joe sixpack the short term day traders think they are so superior too. Anyway my trade is up 12% since my re-enter on July 14th. Since my original entry on March 13th trade has a profit of 28%. Have no idea when this market will top out. I will just hold until it turns down, then exit. But exit AFTER it turns down. I never try to pick a top. Whenever that time is. I haven't any idea where the top is. You should ask some of the day traders for that information. More in their field. Charles
