Clean Water Act--water grab

http://www.environme...ins-detractors/

http://www.opencongr...l/111-s787/show

This has slipped through without catching my attention. I have REAL problems with giving the feds control over non-navigable waters. I have REAL problems with them sneaking it through congress without letting us get a clear whiff of it.

This is contemporaneous with the attempts to control our food supply and put small organic producers out of business. AND take over 16% of our economy. And divert trillions away from every man woman and child who uses electricity or natural gas. Shouldn't this get discussed at length by the American people?

I'm at least up on the other stuff but the Water Restoration Act of 2009 is new and horrifying to me. I leave you to do your own reseach.

If a state were to secede from the union, I wonder if they would still be legally liable for a portion of the national debt? If, say, 49 states seceded and were able to walk away from the debt...

If you don't mind my saying, this is but one of many things "moving through Congress" that are "horrifying". I'd tell you to go read the health plan, but it's longer than War and Peace. IT

I'm even more angry with the press than I am Congress and this and prior administrations. The press is non-existant. They cover nothing from a Constitutional viewpoint.

Our freedoms are being stolen...frog in pot slow boiled pot syndrom. For me...the last straw will be "gun control" of some sort. I will get VERY worried when an effort is made to go after the ownership of guns and ammo by private, law abiding citizens.

The "press" you refer to has been literally bought and run by the large corporations and manned by former catalogue models for decades now.
