I'm not sure if anyone showed this but I sure enjoyed it and I do believe there is a movement coming to audit the Fed soon.

Believe me ladies and gentlemen...you don't want to open this Pandora's Jar of intrigue.

Regardless, as the market moves higher, things like this will melt into the background.

Hi Dave, what do you mean by not wanting to open "pandora's jar". I think everyone knows they are sitting on trillions of worthless junk. I mean they pretty much are the entire mortgage market right now. And some of the stuff they have accepted as collateral is laughable.

Then if everyone knows about it, why have an audit?

No...there is a bigger agenda going on here, and without getting into crux of the situation, no one will pleased with the results (especially those who are the instigators).

Remember that Congress created the Fed to fix their mistakes...leave it be.

Under the 1913 Federal Reserve Act it is not clear that the Fed must submit to an audit or give explanation of its balance sheet. But Congress could repeal the Act. This could be the start of a stand off between the private banking system and Congress.

It could undermine the whole US credit system from banking to treasury functions. Careful what you wish for, it is not all good.

US capital markets are very much developed, US markets offer liquidity instead of growth though, this is the best they can do for now. There is not much growth in US markets for several more years actually. The Fed audit will remove this kind of liquidity, this would collapse the US markets, same for the transaction tax. USD is becoming a carry trade of choice. The bankers are profiting from this not the nation, Congress is slowly waking up, but they cannot do much about it either. It is too late without pushing the economy into a deep depression... If you want to chase growth, invest in Asia... Borrow cheap in US and invest in Asia is the carry trade actually now. They have so many freaking growth stories that you cannot keep up with them fast enough. However, Asia do not offer the same kind of liquidity for fast money, so you take the risks that way. It is very easy to move funds in US, it will be harder in Asia but it should be more rewarding for anyone inclined to invest in the trending moves...

Maybe I shouldn't have said everyone. Are you not concerned that they are destroying the dollar with all their money printing. That's what the world is starting to realize. They need to be held accountable and exposed and maybe the audit would do that.

In an effort in not turning this into a political event, the FED is being forced in printing this money, and buying a large amount of "toxic assets", to save us from several decades of Congressional misappropriation. This has been done many times before.

Be it better to have every congressional member drug tested than it would be to audit the system they created to clean up their errors in judgment. Again, you don't want to know who the FED does business with in order to provide this same stability factor in times of crisis.
