Kentucky is paradise.
Maybe not in February, but right now? Hard to beat. This is some pretty country, even up north where we are. Get out into horse country and it's incredible. Then head east and you hit the mountains.
There's something oddly conflicting when you kick up a couple grouse when you're walking to a trout stream.

Do they use only their own grapes to make wine or do they also buy from California like some of the local vintners do.
Today was a beautiful day in the Bluegrass, especially considering how s***y the weather has been for October.
They've got some 400 Dornfelder vines, but they'll be buying grapes too.
