Reversed to short at 10,280 this morning, for a small loss. May get a little more up
Monday, looks like a top of some kind though.
If I'm wrong, I think the culprit is the increased volatility with wide swings
messing up the signals.

And wouldn't "increased volatility with wide swings" suggest consolidation as opposed to trending (which may be your actual culprit)?.
