China is a Communist state...there's no such thing as free speech, no less, freedom of choice.If the Chinese government censors Google and Google pulls out of China as a result, then BIDU increases market share at the expense of free speech.

Generally speaking, I pay no attention to products that I buy and sell...I just follow the money.Will you avoid buying BIDU because of it?
In the case of BIDU, I would be surprised if todays positive reaction to the news holds for more than a day or two.

Regardless of our opinions, you and I have no power here. The Government of China will do what they feel is best based on their ideology. If, however, you don't agree with their political views or business plan, you have the freedom of choice to decide otherwise. The Chinese people don't have that. They too have no power in this area. They accept what is given to them or vanish.you would support a censored Internet service in China?
