whats the edge? we have done the exact same pattern three times now...what is the flux capacitor that says we gap down tommorow?
or do we gap down and then run and fill the gap above again?
if anything it seems like shorts got trapped today by the breakdown of 1131 and then it reestablished the trend...they are trapped and its additional buying power
I have a rule about the third instance of anything in markets...

I think we GAP up tomorrow and scare the shorts..... Trend indicators are starting to finally turn bearish (MACD), McClellan. We are short term mildly oversold. Bulls should have the upper hand tomorrow.

I don't have an opinion on the gap. I suspect tomorrow we end the day green.

Elliott wise, it appears that we just finished a simple flat correction on the hourly chart.
And remember what I shared last Friday about our being close to an significant internal bottom? We got that today.
Still a hit and run market for the bears. It was nice to see several "banking" today's shake out.

From the breadth and volume side of things, the internals continue to suggest corrective behavior.

That would be an ALL time highs, and yes it did.the nyse ad line made a new high yesterday?
I don't have enough time to fully review your "how" questions, but I'll point you in the right direction and maybe others will be able to add comment. I'll address any follow ups on Thursday when the weather is more stable.
The short term trend of the NYAD, as measured by the NYMO, is diverging with its components.how have they shown a corrective nature..?
The answer for this lies with the Open 10 TRIN.how have they shown an internal bottom?
I'm including an updated combo chart of the NYAD from the weekly cumulative chart updates for further technical discussion.
