[off topic and maybe inappropriate snip] If you donate for Haiti, think about how to leverage. Salesforce.com matches your money, donating to Red Cross until they hit their limit. My company does the same, so for $100, I got $300 worth of leverage to them. I'll actually donate much more later, when everyone else has forgotten about them, but its worth checking out how you can steer more money to help those folks. P.S. Its all also tax deductable, so in the end, donate until you start to feel some real sacrifice. If $100 seems easy, double it after you do it once. If that doesn't "hurt," then double that. I guarantee you will surprise yourself, and take awhile before you hit your "pain" threshold. And remember many of these people are in far more physical and emotional pain than you will ever be by donating money to help them get food, WATER, and medical aid. Then comes the rebuilding where they will need far far more money and people resources.

Very true in that they will need help for years.
Be careful in donating, be sure that who you donate to will give the bulk of the money to rebuilding and not line the politicians in Haiti pockets.
