I was looking up that quote because it is one of the great Wall-Street sayings that gives me a laugh every time I hear it. The pundits and visiting shills on CNBC are great at this punchline even as everyone's portfolio is getting punched out.
Anyway, I looked up that quote on Google to see what popped up and this popped up:

Probably shouldn't pick on this guy, but I can't resist... Let's see how this came out (the green line is when this ding-dong posted this, the red line is the first major break in the NYSI after the 11/9 market up turn in the NYSI). Yeah, it's a market of stocks alright, but you BETTER WATCH OUT FOR THE MARKET!
