VIX is up 5% today( or was at one point) and VXX was up 1.3% I think I-path is going to have a big class action lawsuit in the near future
Any decent VIX securities out there?

Try VIX futures?
VXX, but I can't figure out how it works. Its priced off of the next 2 months of the VIX futures, but drops continually. I've lost on it.

I was referring to the futures contract for VIX. Symbol is VIX in Interactive Brokers. I don't trade it but thought I'd throw it out there if you were unfamiliar with it.

Tried VXX once but never looked at VXZ before and I am astonished (am I reading something wrong?). Easy short if the shares are there, these are very broken, lawsuits inevitable.
