A chart from the article. The S&P 500 1929 on top of the S&P 500 2010. . .
I noticed this with the dshaw.com chart comparing the major bear markets ('29, current and the Japanese in the '90's) I posted Monday night. This shows the comparision more acutely.

I've been at this for nearly 30 years. Every time the market gets hairy someone pulls out the charts comparing the present conditions (whenever) to 1929. And everytime nothing even remotely like that happens. Be pretty cool if, after my 30 years, this finally turns out to be true? mm

I report. You decide. That being said, show me a chart of the S&P 500 over the last 30 years (outside of '87) that lines up to the '29 like this.
