I hope that those of you who tried to bottom pick (looks like a fair number from the polls) did not overdo your position size. My advice, after decades of trading, is just cut your losses sooner rather than later. HOPE is a great word for a political campaign slogan and good emotion for life in general. HOPE is a 4 letter word in trading and leads to disasters. Good luck to all today.

I always do in this one sentence. . .

"Hope is disappointment deferred."

"The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it."
--George Bernard Shaw

"None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free."
--Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Sold my longs this morning..... Please beware my TREND indicators are decisively negative, but ST and close to Medium term indicators are positive.... We are at the 200-day MA, which should add support right ( WRONG )..... First time we hit the 200-day MA we are assured of a bounce 72%, second time we hit the 200-day MA the assurance goes to 55%. We are now approaching it for a third time so bounce assurance is somewhere between 35% - 40%... The odds of it holding are not worth the risk.... A sell-off can be very fast and very swift.....
