Made 70% in about a week with ES puts.
As I posted earlier that MMs wanted the market down before OpEx as too many call holders out there. This gap down is just for the SPX options settlement value and does not mean anything technically. As the SPX settlement value was already determined the Low of Day was in.

Did you mean Sep ES instead of SPX? ES puts settle at the close today, this is a monthly expiration. The delivery is in short futures, not cash. SPX settled at the open prices slightly below 1100...

But the puts I had were ES puts and I have to admit that I closed them a little too earlier. Missed another 10% gains. I just don't want to go for exercises to hold the ES futures short over the weekend as this market is largely news driven.
