Is there a certain time options expire today?

I am not an options guy at all but I think that most major US Index options are AM settled......meaning they stop trading as of the prior day's close and ARE affected by the next day's open even though those holding them can not trade them after the prior day's close (but they CAN gun the futures). I am sure there are some index issues that are PM settled as are most (maybe all) equity options. Those are settled on the Saturday AFTER the Friday close or on Friday if Friday is a market Holiday.
Thanks Iblayz, That pretty much answers my question. Looks to me like that ramp at the close was a gift to the shorts yesterday. I should have caught it.
Was hoping they ramp it back to the DTL (SPX) for a short entry, but I'll have to settle for what i can get between now and the close.

Stocks options go by the close price at 4 pm. SPX and some other indices options already settled at about 10 am.can't seem to find it anywhere.
