Anybody else having problem with IB connections?

I seem to be disconnecting every few seconds.

I am.

I am on hold waiting to get help hopefully. But spoke with a friend of mine who is also having troubles so i think its everyone. Never had this happen before.

Yes - stepped away late morning and just got back and IB had dropped around 12:20EST. Now will not reconnect at all. Been acting a bit squirelly the last few days as well.

I was told to contact COMCAST...my internet provider. He said they are having issues with a "few" providers. He said they already know about it but
the more people who call the more urgent they will know the issue is.

I was also told that comast is the problem. I have time warner so the IB guy says that time warner is part of comcast. :o Anyway, the problem resolved by itself while I was on the chat with him. It seems fine now.

Out of those with outages. Who is trading Gold and or Silver.


I am have trouble. Was Trading both from the long side.

I will mention I have Comcast as a primary provider.

Ugg. Comcast says call IB. LOL. After hearing of yours now working i just closed mine and restarted and still not working. Uggg

You want a bare bones discount broker, you get bare bones discount support as part of the deal. :P
