I like your use of traditional technical analysis techniques.

It appears things are starting to line up - vix above 20; needs to stay there awhile, stock market down, US$ up.

Bob, What do you think of AAPL? I have seen the charts but please tell your interpretation. Thanks.

Hi DrSP, good to hear from you. :) IMHO, I remain open to the possibility that AAPL could retrace and cover its recent gap and head back to its breakout area in the 376-383 area. Disclaimer: All my comments in my reply to you or in any of my posts on the TT boards or elsewhere on the web are not to be taken as trading or investment advice. The NASDAQ and NYSE A/D and the SOX are wretched today. Take a look at the AAPL daily chart:

http://stockcharts.c...5132&r=7011.png

IMVHO, AAPL has a good chance to return to the middle of its BB currently at 366.71 if this market keeps going down sharply. AAPL appears to be coming down the right side of its extreme parabolic rise; all parabolic rises end badly and AAPL's rise IMHO is no exception.

Here is the AAPL weekly chart:

http://stockcharts.c...3081&r=5977.png

IMHO, if and when AAPL closes below its upper weekly BB then it will generate an AAPL weekly sell signal.

Have a happy successful trading day and week. :)
