although it looked like you were knocking the crash caller..or the call... now seems you can see what may be lurking

around the corner

you now have the right call ... monday is down, so sorry for the early warning post... seems they often bring out the contrarian callers. :bowtie:

A little passive-aggressive? It's also interesting that you'd hold it till the market sold off to vent it.

Anyways...

(1) 20-point selldoff is not a "crash".

(2) "Lurking" is also not a "crash".

(3) I was merely stating an observation that seems to work every time people started posting "crash" calls.

(4) Even though it makes me feel like some kind of a western shootout every time I post a new thread, this is not a competition for me. I'm only sharing what I'm seeing with the board here. So, I'm not really concerned about whether I've got the "right" call or not.

well i know that feeling....... and that's the reason i defended your contrarian view to my own call.

fade me if you will, but a fast 10-20% drop for me is a crash,.. and we are not done gowning down.
5days @ -2 to 2.5% a day adds up to well 'called' move if that does occur.
i chose to call it what i wanted, you call it what you want and play it long if you will .. but we aren't done ...going down yet.

good luck

Not to butt in Dev but TM meant no harm im sure. High emotions playing short which I and he (I believe) and it always semms to jinx it. I am teed off at my ownself for not seeing fridays bounce coming. IT WAS ON THE CHARTS. I actually sold my shorts near the bottom and went back in on the pop friday. But it just popped a bit more than I thought. Bulls are use to these short drops with pumping saaving there butts but to me we will not get that this time. Fingers crossed. I do see a tradable bounce at 1280 - 90 but it rolls back over at 1305 and we head for 1250...

I sure didn't see this coming, or the last Thursday sell-off. I expected some sell-off, but the sheer percentage moves are throwing me for a loop and I clearly don't have the tools to anticipate or trade them. I do ok with major tops and bottoms, everything else is a mystery. So I'm done trading until there's a better setup that I can understand. Having killed 1320 a major Hurst cycle low is not in - in fact once I recalculate some stuff tonight I will probably find we're looking at 1255 for a target. So let me try to understand Mr. Dev, and you can give any or no hints as to what you're looking at - you're expecting 10-15% more down? Yikes...So much for at a double top, I guess

Mr Dev, So glad to have you back and posting and thanks so much for the warning last week, your words helped me in my decision to remain flat. Best of trading, Tom
