Yes, we where many that was amazed by the large discrepancy of NDX vs RUT this Thursday. I have found that MACD flatliner/consolidaton setup to often be a good predictor of then to fade a counter trend move.

I was just looking at RUT for Monday. We have triple support at 790 as my chart indicates and then stout ema support from 786-89 area. Maybe enough for a small DCB Monday? Unless this past week was held up with typical OPEX manipulation that all falls apart immediately on Monday. Also note that RUT topped at a near perfect 76.4% retrace up off the March highs.

My chart is about IT & LT trends and does not necessary display ST events. It is however a type of "heads-up" that a direction change is very possible "sometime in the future", a day, week, etc.
It is like the charts in this link.
TREND CHARTS
Thanks for your comments on your chart. Good points.
Best,

Well we got a "day" move.MSS, thanks for the clarification. Really enjoy your charts. Mine chart looks like it reverted back to SC default settings. I'll post it again just in case.

and that's was the way it was, Monday, July 23rd. We gapped through all the "support" and even the 200EMA till we hit the 50% retrace.
BTW, I sold my TZA short RUT position at the 50% retrace line for RUT that you see on the chart and went long there for the DCB. Now short again...
