I've always liked SLW's business model and management. As posted on my beta-blog, back in the late 08 panic,

I acquired a large position in the 3's ---and sold it all in the teens. Recent top was in the 40's

... but as the song goes, I Dont Wanna Talk About It

SLW's business model differs from other miners. Instead of owning mines, they acquire royalty streams from global producers. A different risk-hedging model than traditional operators, and much less capital-intensive.

Next move seems poised for a run to 60's: http://stockcharts.c...p...4&listNum=1

hi beta, their model is called the prospect generator model years back i posted a piece by brent cook, which he talks about the prospect generator model. it is an interesting model, the company owns the land , and sells stakes to other mining companies who then develop that land, eg then the home company gets paid in silver/gold @a very reduced price. there are some explorers that employ this model. sand is one for example dharma
