for the move.
I am not brave enough to bet it as the market is so oversold, but rather posting it to be on the record.
evryoe can see it oversold but of course it could extend.
there was a chap, i cant remember his name who once said "the market can stay overbought for longer than i can remain solvent". I think this is fair comment.
everyone looking for support and a bounce.
The mkt is most dangerous when it's oversold. In 1987's crash, the week before the mkt was extremely oversold. Advisors were saying it's like keeping a balloon under water..they'll be a huge rally. That friday we were down 110pts the most in its history. well, as you know monfay produced a 500 pt. decline. Trin that day was 10+.
I've been calling for the mkt to reset itself at 12100 to 11700. I'd like this to happen now rather than a drawn out affair. We'll be able to play the mkt rebound range 12100 to 13000 for a few months.

Yes... Before the big crash in 87 the market statistics looked much like it did today. Sentiment however before the 87 crash was bullish and not bearish. Unfortunately, my data for put/call etc... does not quite go back that far to see the differences there.
I have in the past tried to work on predicting crashes, and since all out crashes are rare, it is difficult to really predict when they will happen.

Yes, all out crashes are very rare and can't be predicted. We could back and fill as we go lower in slow motion. SPX 13% 20e.....19% 50e...and 32% 200e. BPCOMPQ 27%. These are max lows and suggest a rally unless we continue pressure on downside. NASI is -760 which is a buy in a bull mkt correction, BUT if we're in a bear phase then -1000 to -1250 will mark the low buy area. For those playing SOX i'm a buyer at 350. Major tier 1 firms have been putting out sells in the past week. A LITTLE LATE IN THE GAME. Sox hi 550 and now they're selling.....Please............
