On Oct 23 Denleo pointed out the NDX was up over 2% and breadth did not seem to line up. I have NDX data from Jan 2002 and only 3 times in that history has the NDX been up 2% on breadth less than 67%. I used 67% because that was about the breadth on 10-23-07 when Denleo pointed it out. The other dates were 6-12-2002 and today. The prior two occurrences resulted in sharp 10%+ corrections within the next 14 trading days.

Thanks for pointing that out. I also noticed the DOW p/c looks like hell.
What else is new. Tomorrow could be another hell sell-off day

Frankly speaking, I am just fed up with nonsense, whip, whip, chop, chop, at the same time; not like any other time.

Hi Zeev, this market is absolutely deceitful. It is not like just a few years ago, and of course, not many years ago.
At least, during 1999-2000, many stocks went up and during 2000-2002, we knew that markets were pulling back; now, they are killing up or down at the same time.
This is absolutely deceitful market until now since at least now people know what is going on with market.
Many stocks are in strong downtrend before the recent sell-off.
Take care
