Comparison to Oct 18th 2000

Last week, I noticed the similarities to early October 2000, (beginning of bear market) where an earlier low held at the first test but then, a few days on Oct. 18th, it failed and sold off, but then reversed closing slightly up after covering 50 points that day. (LINK)
We have a similar setup going into tomorrow.
But there are differences, as always.
Could tomorrow be anything like Oct. 18th, 2000?

i went back and looked at the same chart over the weekend...

i bought tonight...we need the fed first thing in the morning to make it come to fruition
