so a light vol spx test of the aug lows from the underside (well closed about a point higher than the low but...) what does your volume studies say about this condition? was it expected... as we had a failed test just below around 2/13...

Here's what I look at there. Comparison candle in immediate vicinity is 2/13, we break that high on lighter volume but, we close over it. we look at the highest volume candle in the local zone for the resistance high within this price range... that takes us to 1/17 - 1377.72 high. With respect to the 8/16 candle we have closed within that candle range now on 5 occasions since we lost it on 1/17 without breaching that high from 8/16 of 1415. I am looking to buy SDS now somewhere north of 1377 for a trade if volume continues to stay low.
