Whatever can be cornered, will be cornered. Precious metals are very cornerable. Actually, I can't think of another single asset class than could be cornered. By cornering, I speak of not just 1 person or group but by a very small group of folks. Remember the Hunts? Here was just 1 family who was almost able to by themselves push silver to much higher prices than they are today. Today we have many more families and groups such as the Sovereign Wealth Funds who can perhaps squeeze prices to crazy heights. Also our control over the movements of such wealth is extremely limited. The most strategic use of those funds would be to buy the metals. Very easy market to understand. When the light bulb goes on, WATCH OUT!
If it can be cornered, it will.

what i remember is one day, comex changed the rules, one could only sell silver, there was no buying silver contracts allowed. obviously this put in the top. the exchanges will, when cornered, change the rules to insure their survival. be aware, this will not carry on forever. dharma

If it can be cornered, it will.
