beautifull farm country for sure !!! weve been going to pennsylvania for years either lancaster or the poconoes and we
love the state. whenever i come back from lancaster county i always feel real peacefull (i live in the subs of nyc)
there is something about pennsylvania the people are just plain friendly suits my personality.
i have a feeling well retire to pennsylvania in a few years if i can just convince my wive.
anyway its nice to have breakfast in the morning and look out the window and see just
open farmland and farm animals. it works for me and my wife for sure
g
p.s.
be prepared to loosen your belt a few notches lol the food is real good
Born and raised until a young child in PA, just next to Lancaster Co. I love to visit and it is beautiful, especially spring with all the bulbs blooming and fall with it's beautiful color. I still go there occasionally to visit a sister still there. I wouldnt move there anymore as my blood likes CA but I do love it....and the food IS good and all the farmer markets.

Actually, it depends on where you are in NYC. If you are in the boroughs you might be right but, most tourists never go there and almost no one in Manhattan is actually from New York.
I too like Lancaster Co. It's the greatest place to get lost in. Driving the back roads is going into timeless, rural America. Heaven is chicken and dumplings with shoe fly pie for dessert.
