here comes the retail buyers the same ones shorting when equity putcall was 1.40 on march 17th!!

I take it that 218 means there is alot of call buyers, and something under 1 is alot of put buyers? I can't seem to keep these things straight. IT

you got it....equity readings over 200 are a plethora of "opening" of call postions...and in the past has been bell ringing stuff! ofcourse the bell can ring for days

as we know!!

IC, I am assuming this number is high and therefore bearish. I never looked at this number. Can you provide a chart for the last 5 years or so, or a link where I can get historical prices on ISEE EQUITY ONLY. Thanks. Denleo

Denleo, this is probably the only nominal P/C ratio that makes sense since it counts only the opening or newly purchased positions, not sales as far as I can remember. Obviously, IC is quoting the equity P/C ratio, there is also the overall ratio which is also high.

Speculation when the market internally sliding can lead to sudden jolts...
