This tape was gappy and unstable today... take a look.

OK, the thing I wanted to show you here is look what happened here at 2 O'Clock. Then you look at the SPX, there was a gap down on the 3 min on volume (chart posted on earlier SPX thread)

Somebody knows something I can tell you that. Only time will tell, but we know the general area.

There was a "save face" print on the close.

Oh, and there was that little story about CFC debt being cut to "JUNK" by S&P...

As far as Nasdaq. Look at this. Sure it's the strongest right here vs SPX, but look overall, the DJIA and SPX have tested their .50s, but the Nasdaq failed, and that's your strongest group at the moment. Looks quite similar in fact to what happened in November, but at lower levels... and we're moving into 180 degree GANN timeframes for the November high. And the chart was in better shape in November 2007 than it is here... for sure. In fact we may have already seen the IT high.
