Did you know ?

The state bird is the Redbird. Yet St Louis call themselves the cardinals.

There are over 20,000 manufacturers in the state. Yet we have one of the highest foreclosure rates in the country.

There is more corruption in state government per sq. ft than in DC. (i could prove it easily but lets just say the mafia is not gone, and Daley did not make a clean city without major police force oppressiveness.)

Contained thee two fastest growing counties in the country, Will and Kendall, yet both now have some of the highest foreclosure rates and unemployed homeowners also in the country. And you thought it was Caliphornia or Lost Wages.

the Cubbies are 32 games over .500. yet they have't won a series for exactly 100 years.

is home to the world's largest heavy equipment maker. Caterpillar.

is home to one of the most corrupt companies in the US. (ADM- the guys who brough you ethanol shoved down your throat, and forced the 52 cent/ gallon subsidy that goes to farmers who make corn for it. ) Andreas family nearly corrupt as they come.

We had a governor in Ohio who thought it was a good idea to invest public funds in coin collections..."managed" by a crony. If they aren't criminal they're incredibly stupid. Take your pick. But it's politics and that means topic closed.
