All the posts (now erased) about Frac's subscribers and the glowing recommendations from Cheif and others about his daytrading talents must have pi$$ed off the moderators. Maybe some kind of TOS violation or something.

Um, yeah. Yeah it is.
Folks, we don't beat on folks. It shuts down all but the most belligerent commentary. If that's what you want, there's tons of that elsewhere on the web.
We have always been friendly to professionals here. From back in the days on AOL, Fearless Forecasters encouraged professional traders, managers and analysts to participate. We reject the anti-commercial bias that many message boards have.
As such, we have a good deal of talent here.
Now, I'll hold professionals to a higher standard of behavior because we aren't some free marketing resource for anyone with a newsletter to exploit, but if a pro is freely giving of him or herself, I think it perfectly fine that they link to their site or mention their services.
Now, a lot of us have seen the outlandish and unethical spamming that some folks have done on boards all over the web over the years. We're sensitized to that. But know that you don't need to police that. We are. Certainly, if someone is pitching a trackrecord and it seems that they're playing fast and loose, well, it's OK to question that and to "provide a disincentive" for such behavior. That's why our site isn't a haven to spammers and scammers.
But I'm going to demand that our pros be treated with a modicum of respect and civility if the conduct themselves like good members of our community.
