Well depending if they leverage it at 10 to 1 or they go for the full 30 to 1 we can expand things on the order from 7 trillion to 21 trillion. We could throw a great party for 21 trillion. Could last 5 to 10 years? 8 year cycle? 4 year cycle? Ok at least till Xmas.
Why 700 billion could be enough..

I love that. Leverage helped to create this mess.....we'll toss leverage at it to get out! Let the easy money and massive leverage flow!

they were already financing their holdings of MBS through short-term loans.
