The Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown Monday. Until after Yom Kippur (10-9) Jews are not to work.
I believe that this Wall Street maxim had substantially more reliability in the early 20th century, when most of the traders
were Jews who went flat before Rosh Hashanah and didn't trade again until after Yom Kippur. You still hear it, so I
thought I would take a look:

Please show me the numbers.....% gain or loss.....Points gain or loss and average of gain or loss.....Also can you show some other ma on your chart ? 50 or 200 ma would be nice. Thanks Selecto Paul

Paul, I did not bother to bookmark the underlying charts after I stitched them together, so I would have to start all over again, which I am not interested enough to do. If you do it, let us know, :)
