Hello TT posters,
I have not been active here in quite some time, but plan to again get involved in the interchange. Firstly, my TT names is lifted from a Steely Dan song so I will be of no help with information related to Asian markets (believe it or not, I received PMs about such). Secondly, my method for trading is 100 percent technical and my timeframe would be considered short term (rarely daytrade.....except for stops). Thirdly, I am neither a bull or bear and always refer to market direction as positive or negative!
Since I am recently retired and trade only my personal funds, I frequently find the need for some interchange of ideas and thoughts on the markets-----from a technical perspective of course ;~). I also hope to be able to add something of value to the group.
Regards,
DrWu

I vaguely remember you Dr. Wu and relate totally to what you are about to do. I lurked here and on the previous site for years glomming the technical analysis of the great technicians here as I am not one and don't need to be one as long as there are those out there who are good and neutral in their attitude toward the very short term analysis I look for. Many I use are still here, many that have gone.
Over a year and a half ago as the calamity we are now experiencing had come to be within sight, I saw a lot of misinformation and mass underestimating of what was about to come and got active again to post how wrong they were. I have found it messy at times but, overall a great experience in terms of exchanging ideas and expectations as to what is to come.
Another short-term technician with a neutral bias? For me, that's a good thing! Welcome back.

Thanks guys, it's good to be back. I will say that there is a large difference between "bottom picking" and attempting to locate a counter-trend trade.
