This is the consensus.....Everyone expecting this market to hit a low in October and rally till the end of the year....The surprise will be no lows here.....

I guess that goes to show, the only ones to get rich are the insiders of an IPO, (MSFT & GOOG) or CEOs that pay themselves millions a yr while making no profits and even driving the company into bankruptcy, per Enron, Freddie, Fannie, LEH, AIG, C, MER, BS etc, etc, etc, the USA.....gulp Now they (bush, paulson, and bernanke) all ask us fools to have confidence in them and the financial system...LOL My confidence is about as high as my respect for them....

I mentioned this sort of thing about no money being made in the last 10 years last night on one of nimblebear's threads using Vanguard Primecap Fund as the particular example. Retirement is going to be a b*tch for more than just the baby boomers I think. Like I said last night, the 401K/IRA initiative set forth by Congress at the behest of Corporate America over twenty years ago is not just the biggest scam perpertrated by them over the middle class in the 20th century, it has also made it easier to transfer the assets of the many to the very few easier than it was before they were initiated. The chickens are coming home to roost on that game now, and as it looks at the momement, most of the rest of the 21st century. How this can be rectified is beyond my imagination. The middle class is now on the fast track to become a thing of the past. There will be an overclass and an underclass like those shows you see on Masterpiece Theatre. Seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth century England...here we come.

The latter is because you've been hanging out in the right circles (here).
The former is due to that self-esteem thing. Rog.

You must keep repeating to yourself Rodger...

In times like these, it's important to keep a sense of humor are at least, find someone who can make you laugh.
It's good for the body, it's good for the mind, it's good for the soul. ;)
