Now I just found out that I could NOT place an order on ES with IB. The price stays fixed, you cannot buy or sell lower than 855.25. Maybe that's the plan: Re-open on Monday with a 60 points gap up......

Hi RF2, IMHO, the futures will re-open when regular trading starts.

Good luck on your trades. :)

Cheers, :)

Thanks interesting. Locked limit down should stop any selling till market opens this AM, but buys should be accepted. Maybe they changed the rules?

Yesterday Greenspan admitted he found a "flaw" in the markets he had not previously seen. Perhaps today he'll discover a way to fix that......... :)

You mean, Paulson can bang the buy button either? By the looks of things, it seems that is the case. No movement in the futes off the lows.

Some heavy hands engineered it down and there are even heavier hands will reverse engineer it back. Let's wait and see.

Maybe the heavy hands have lost control.
