It is because everyone is saying it will. I think everyone is either out of the market already or is short. Everyone on tv, radio, all over the place. Dow going to 4000 next week. Now I don't know what will happen but I think we are very near the low. QQQQ looks like it has good support around 29. We shall see.

considering we had futures locked down limit pre-open = panic, a real positive i see today is the fact that we are trading virtually all day so far above the open.

ed...was just going to say the same thing. It's a crash expanded out to several weeks instead of several days.

We crashed for a while yes, but if you listened to cnbc this morning, they were talking about 10% moves down then 20 % then 30%. It was like we are all going to die today. Just sell everything. They were all in panic and then you have like guys come on and be like, well, I think the dow should be 4000 .
