I've always liked Art Cashin and Rick Santelli on CNBC.
Today I heard Rick Santelli in a rare radio interview.
He has been an outspoken critic of the bailout.
He said: "They are changing the rules.
They are saying that 'a card laid is NOT a card played'".
What a simple way to put it.

Then tonight I found this gem on Youtube:
Rick Santelli Takes Down Jim Cramer

10/1/07: DOW 14,580! Run into a supply shortage!
10/31/07: DOW 13,900!
9/19/08: The Bull is back! Detour over! DOW 14,500 is back!

Wow. I've never watched this current incarnation of Cramer on CNBC. If that isn't "Exhibit A" as to why I keep saying DON'T watch CNBC what is? Sure Santelli called him and Art Cashin is blah, blah, blah but, really is that worth letting all the crap hustlers drop on that network all day filter into your head? CNBC is station 69 on my cable. 69 Never a more appropriate station number for the blowjobs they put out.

Except there's no happy ending.

Only your mom loves you long time and means it.

You think I can sell him my intermediate-term system for $10 million. At least then
he would get it right. No buy signal from that system BTW. Kinda scary even
though today should reverse the FOMC down day. Never thought my system
would still read bearish at this level. Wild times. F it...I switched to day trading
most of my life's savings. Not too bad.

Think of this...a recent low is higher than the previous high. That would confirm
an uptrend. Works great intraday. I've already said too much...

I don't make predictions, I just react.

MilBank...CH.69 is devine, CH.69 is devine. Make love not preDictions! And cgnx loves Art Cashin, her new GURU...everything she says is right out of his mouth. CNBS has one great program, Squawk Box 6am to 9am est..... the rest is propaganda.

Once again the specialists on the NYSE cratered the market in the last 5 min of the day from +280pts to -200pts(Hedge Fund forced selling?) and accumulated HUGE blocks of stocks which they'll now sell back at the highs of yesterday! They'll make Hundreds of Millions with NO Risk. It'll be a nice X-Mas FOR THEM!

Santelli is THE ONLY guy who gets it! Seriously. Today he cut to the chase once again: Noone is going to save with rates this low. Long bonds are going far higher (ie forget about anyone buying our debt, and with all the new supply coming its bad news) Mortgage rates are going to go through the roof. I don't need to tell you the implications of above. I say we ELECT SANTELLI FOR PRESIDENT !!!
OTIS.
