It's a butt ugly W4 of sick breadth and participation. They are going to be stunned at the price damage that occurs in the macd kissback to rising signal line.

Hi AChartist, nice to hear from you, thanks a lot for your insights. :) Do you have any VST downside targets for AAPL and the QQQQs. TIA :)

Have a great weekend. :)

I will buy more OTM March put, if it gets to 120 area. They are in heavy distribution mode here. It will be interesting to see which darling takes its place next. Best

No, because it's a 5 of 3 can do many things even truncate .
And I'm not sure this 4 can't be more complex such as down to Nov 14, swing up,
and the 5 low mid Dec.

The mid Dec low looks like the bad one making me think Nov 14 isnt the 5 yet,
just part of a more complex 4. And thats what this nesting of 4's and 5's will do, chew up capital.
Not worth screwing with.

I'm looking at my indicator trend and that may tell me when we get there.
Indicator is well below zero on sell, is posting a higher swing at lower price swing,
immediate reversal due.

There are so many nested 4's and 5's here, it wont be clear until its
all done. But I would expect a better 4 after Dec low and then the crushing
5 in 2009. It's following
my roadmap almost exact.

What is not being comprehended here, it was not this generations retirement lost, it
was the whole of all inheritance through the entire history of all bubbles. Most of
the ones I know are on inheritance.
Stick a fork. It might have
to correct the whole thing to the 1929 high ( adj for inflation is about 300 SPX )

Thanks a lot skyymaster! :) Sounds like a great March OTM AAPL put strategy especially, if as you stated, AAPL makes it to the heavy congestion area around 120. :) AAPL was very weak on Friday despite the sharp INDU and NASDAQ rise. On an ID basis, AAPL couldn't even tag its Thursday closing price. IMHO, the loss of almost the entire QQQQs' ID advance on Friday combined with AAPLs' loss and the non-confirms by the COMPQ, NDX, NYA and VLE among other indicators suggest a decline next week in the QQQQs, AAPL, and the NASDAQ among others next week. The AAPL 60-minute chart above gave a PSAR sell signal in addition to the steadily eroding MACD all day on Friday from the start of trading. The QQQQs kept stalling out around the 33 level for 3 days in a row and between Wednesday and Friday had lower volume each day; IMHO, both the QQQQs and AAPL have lost momentum and are headed lower. :) BTW, about 2 weeks ago the QQQQs also stalled around the 33 level for 3 days on successively lower volume each day-see my QQQQs charts and post below on this board.

Best, :)

Hi AChartist, thanks very much for your explication of the current complex overlapping e-wave structure. :) Thanks also for your insights about a potential intermediate low occurring about November 14, "coincidentally" just before the upcoming worldwide economic summit, and a possible more significant low in mid-December which would occur during the EOY tax-loss selling time. :) Also, thanks for your 2009 projection for a potential devastating decline and associated SPX projection. :)

Best, :)

Isn't it possible that we test the triangle breakdown before a continuation of the down move. Be careful shorting apple before the holidays.
