Falling gas prices. Never thought I'd see the day again, unless we were in a depression of some sort. ;) Heck, I just might drive to Disney this year, instead of flying. Screw those stinkin airlines, and hey not too many folks can afford to go to disney these days anyway. Roads/traffic might not be too bad.

$1.93 in Tulsa and falling. My van usually holds $100. Had to squeeze it to get in $60. $40 bucks left for ribs and beer while listening to Jeff Beck.

i think i've seen $2.69 as the "cheapest" but most gas stations are right around three bucks.

With the 14 cent gas tax added by the governor Gregoire last year our prices are staying at $2.69 area in Washington state. Enjoy while gas prices stay below $3. With all the money Feds are printing, soon the US$ will be toast and inflation will come back with a roar. The only thing which might avoid that scenario is if all the other central banks also keep printing fiat money like it is going out of style. Get out of US$ and get into tangible assets.

I paid $2.19/gal the other day just out of the city. It was $0.20 more expensive 5 miles north.

Wonder if theres someway to lock in gas at below $2 gal, for a period of time for the regular guy. I understand this is the secret to Southwest Airs success, they are locked in at ~ 51 a barrel for a couple of years. I heard they are the only carrier that has ever been profitable standing on there own, without govt intervention... Out

Buy oil stocks now while they are CHEAP. Long term futures are scary freaky high ! when the world's economy recovers we are going to blow through $150 like a hot knife thru butter !
