It appears the small (5) was truncated and we are now in ABC up. Then the big 5 starts.

Yes, I think that's the most likely count -- talking about the move off the SPX 839 low on the daily chart. Wonder what Teaparty and Fib think...

At the risk of posting this too many times....the reason why 1010 is pretty key...worthless to those who "don't need no stinkn' charts".. :D

Skymaster, I do not think its a truncated 5th wave becasue 5th waves must have 5 waves and that one does not. If you can count it as 5 I would change my mind. We could be tracing out a very large wave 4 "Flat" where wave A was 839 to 1044 then wave B down to 845 now wave C. That is posible.. That could also be some sort of X or B wave too. If it is a flat I like 1044-1050 as where we should turn south from... SL

Till you pass 1017 SPX I still consider an irregular flat a possibility, especially considering market condition. I've got a target of roughly 1017 for the finish plus or minus some change.

Spooky, Why does 1017 eliminate the flat? SL

Possible, still learning (no pun intended) and you think it would be easier are preceived "bottom" of the wave points. :D

Still-It wouldn't eliminate a regular one for me, but probably would the irregular one I envisioned. We can just as easily drop straight from here, as well.
