WMT and TGT appear to sell food at a much lower price than nearby grocery stores, including the new Korean supermarkets. Still, they did no better than their overall sales of 2.3%. New stores should benefit from being larger and closures of nearby stores.

We buy ALL our groceries at Wal-Mart. Because they have better prices and better
selection than all other major Grocers in town.

It does not take a rocket scientist to observe the cash registers activity.
90% of the customers have groceries in their carts. All of Wal-Mart's
increase in sales is due to food prices!!!

Target, K-Mart, Sears....you name it, don't have the grocery & food selection any where
near that Wal-Mart has.
