Thx Frac: bought AMZN puts couple days ago they are up nicely. Coming out of that EOM seasonality/strength is waning. 1/2 moon today, Full moon next Thurs 13 Nov. Tuesday, AMZN closed below its 13 day moving average. This is generally considered to be an indication of a bearish trend. AMZN's MACD is currently indicating a weak bullish signal. Although the MACD is trending above the signal line, the indicator is still below 0, which suggests that the underlying moving averages are bearish. The Stochastic Oscillator is registering a bearish signal as the %K line has crossed under the %D and the oscillator recently crossed below the critical value of 80, moving from its overbought condition. The RSI is currently at 41.27% which indicates that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold. I think i'll hold these puts at least a couple more days.
I'm short AMZN too, Looks like its about to get crushed. Dollar strength, weak retail environment, 30 P/E .. you name it.
