If war breaks out, it won't be after the national elections coming up in India soon. Both countries will suffer huge losses. Nuclear exchange is extremely unlikely. India has huge foreign currency reserves and vibrant economy and will survive a war. Pakistan will be broken up and will be a basket case after the war.

RD, how come you get to post about Muslims with impunity, but when I post about the threat of Islam it's deleted? U.F.O.

Israel making their move before BO takes the podium. The people of Israel have tired of the land for peace approach, and likely to reinstate Netanyahu on the Feb 10th election. Netanyahu more likely to lay the hammer down then Ohlmert has.

If Netanyahu wins the election, he will bring with him a determination to stop Iranian nuclear weapons, no matter what, and a refusal to concede more territory in the name of the peace process. But Obama’s foreign policy team will be focusing on pushing Israel in just the opposite direction.

The result is likely to be the most significant divergence between Israeli and American policies since 1956, when President Eisenhower sided with the Arabs to halt the British-French-Israeli invasion of Suez.
