RD a nice Fiborking around 12.58 pm. Perhaps 1098.88 (had to through the 8's in sounds kinda salesish) :D

Okay, we're there. Can we stick a Fibork in it now?

Just shorted posted live on my blog. Short 1098.50 es will dump a third at 1096 =cash.

That was quick. :o Very nice as usual, Z!

Roger,
My apologies for not replying to your direct question first. Sometimes I am a bit thick. On this occasion it is too many Singha beers.
But to answer your question, you chart is perfectly valid.

I have rejigged it here, so we are comparing apples with apples. I would expect, on a daily, that resistance would be where the upside line is, which allows a fair bit of variation really. There is also the point that I should go off and rationalise my 60min chart against your daily as your resistance tine will not show on a 60 min

as a matter of courtesy I have also re-jigged my own chart as a daily, mainly because I am interested in re-invigorating the old TT which was primarily concerned with analysis rather than live calls (which I enjoy, but there are aspects of the old TT I miss).

When I was a tad younger, TT had a lot more posting of charts and reasoned analysis with attached evidence (a la Tea 'n IYB), so I 'spose I should do as I preach

Sawadee kap. Just one question about Singha, is it still made with formaldehyde?

absolutely no idea Ishmael. After you have chucked your first hearty (and presumably survived) you tend to cease worrying and just get on with things MTGP

tks Bud lucky guess. :D

Took off 1/3 at that last drop for 4.5 @ 1094 points just hanging for now will put back to 75% if they make one more low and pop it to 1097 again. Stops are placed at 1098.75 but will re-short that pop if it does.

:bowtie: well again ....definitely something to play for...as the markets produced a tradable move of 180 points for the DOW today and 20 points in the SPX!
with this two day move higher the RUT has produced a respectable 5 1/2% for the 2x RUT LONG fund.

trade wisely :bowtie:

nice thread
then back in 09 options expired the following week or about 9 market days later. now in 2010 options expire in 3 days i think there will be a different influence.

im a little on the fence with the market and everyones timing the bottom falling out, as i see it we might not turn down tomorrow or as soon as many are expecting.

for one it's not often so many people would be right.

here's wishing the best to our trades :bowtie:

Fits with what I've got H & Z. Reminiscent of of Feb 2009 when the 6+ TRIN reading produced absolutely nothing on the upside:
