VIDEO: them Sen. runs from Obamacare question on canceled plans...
On Monday, Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) repeatedly refused to answer a simple question on when she knew people wouldn’t be able to keep their current plans under Obamacare.
Sen. Hagan promised on at least 24 separate occasions people in North Carolina would be able to keep their current health care plan — once Obamacare went into effect — if they wished to do so.
However, she dodged the question at her press conference after she made it official she’d be running for re-election.

Uninsured NOT buying Obamacare --

Health insurance marketplaces signing up few uninsured Americans, surveys say
Washington Post
By Amy Goldstein, Updated: Thursday, March 6, 3:00 PM

The new health insurance marketplaces appear to be making little headway so far in signing up Americans who lack health insurance, the Affordable Care Act’s central goal.

A pair of surveys released on Thursday suggest that just one in 10 uninsured people who qualify for private health plans through the new marketplace have signed up for one — and that about half of uninsured adults has looked for information on the online exchanges or plans to look.

Millions didn't want it before and don't want it now....part of why 31 million will STILL not be insured after Obamacare is fully implemented.

For this they have put the enite country in to chaos with huge financial costs to the middle class and with some people dying because they could NOT get care after their original policies were canceled.

Now they propose to allow non-compliant health plans another couple of years of life, to put off the bad news until after the election.

This latest maneuver is supposed to help midterm Democrats, who are facing a very tough landscape in November. But there will always be an election coming that Democrats will want to win. The longer this goes on, the harder it will be
to activate the unpopular parts of the law.

President Obama is afraid to implement the compulsion part of Obamacare because he knows that the American people will eat his party alive in November if he does.

I wonder what happens when the next domino falls -- Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D cuts.

Union: Obamacare will slash wages by up to $5 an hour

“Only in Washington could asking the bottom of the middle class to finance health care for the poorest families be seen as reducing inequality,” said the report from Unite Here. “Without smart fixes, the ACA threatens the middle class with higher premiums, loss of hours, and a shift to part-time work and less comprehensive coverage,” said the report, titled, “The Irony of Obamacare: Making Inequality Worse.”

Based on government and private reports, polling and statements from administration officials, the report, to be sent to pro-union members in Congress, charges that low-wage workers are taking the hit under Obamacare, while wealthy insurance companies fatten up on government subsidies.

I personally know of an uninsured husband and wife who's adjusted gross income last year was $25,900.
As smokers with preexisting conditions they qualify for a $13,500 annual Blue Cross policy under Obamacare.
Their typical annual "self-insured" medical expense has been under $3,000 for years.
Their Obamacare premium is a mere $207 a month with a $4,500 out of pocket annual max.

From just this one couple the happy insurance company will receive the $11,040 deficit from other struggling taxpayers.
A government that is already $17,000,000,000,000 in debt with a total $128,000,000,000,000 in unfunded liabilities sees no problem.
The same government that saw no problem with the government promoted housing bubble.

The insurance company, "Big Health," is a big contributor to the president.
They are being richly rewarded for their support...for now.

Big business and Wall Street are raking in huge profits, either out of thin air or out of taxpayers pockets.
Expert Greek economists also foresee no problems on the horizon.

"You have to sign it to know what's in it"...then Obama changes what's in it: A 2 year extension on the mandate!
(Until after the elections.)

ObamaCare's Secret Mandate Exemption
HHS quietly repeals the individual purchase rule for two more years.

"why are ObamaCare supporters silently gutting their own creation now?"

The White House argued at the Supreme Court that the individual mandate to buy insurance was indispensable to the law's success, and President Obama continues to say he'd veto the bipartisan bills that would delay or repeal it. So why are ObamaCare liberals silently gutting their own creation now?

The answers are the implementation fiasco and politics. HHS revealed Tuesday that only 940,000 people signed up for an ObamaCare plan in February, bringing the total to about 4.2 million, well below the original 5.7 million projection. The predicted "surge" of young beneficiaries isn't materializing even as the end-of-March deadline approaches, and enrollment decelerated in February.

Meanwhile, a McKinsey & Company survey reports that a mere 27% of people joining the exchanges were previously uninsured through February.

Julie Boonstra, a Michigan woman with cancer featured in an emotional anti-Obamacare advertisement who called her health care under the Affordable Care Act "unaffordable," finds out her new plan will save her at least $1000 per year over her old plan while she will retain her same oncologist and prescription drugs, and she still says that "can't be true."

Boonstra’s old plan cost $1,100 a month in premiums or $13,200 a year, she previously told The News. That didn’t include money she spent on co-pays, prescription drugs and other out-of-pocket expenses.

By contrast, the Blues’ plan premium costs $571 a month or $6,852 for the year. Since out-of-pocket costs are capped at $5,100 for in-network doctors and hospitals, including deductibles, the maximum Boonstra would pay this year for all of her cancer treatment is $11,952.

When advised of the details of her Blues’ plan, Boonstra said the idea that it would be cheaper “can’t be true.”

Some people, it seems, can't face a fact even when it stuffs money in their pocketbook.

Her television advertisement was one Sen. Harry Reid cited when he declared on the Senate floor the Koch brothers are trying to buy elections with “untrue” ads like Boonstra’s.

In her interview with The News, Boonstra took issue with Reid’s assessment. She called Reid’s remarks hurtful and said, “I was completely outraged. I deserve an apology.”

From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitne...0#ixzz2vlsngZiD

She wants Sen. Reid to apologize for telling the truth about her lying ad.

On Tuesday, the Washington Post’s fact checker, Glenn Kessler, downgraded Boonstra’s ad further from two to three Pinocchios, based on the new plan information from The News.

“We understand that change can be confusing and that Boonstra was annoyed at having to sign up for a new plan,” Kessler wrote. “But it appears she jumped on television without trying to understand the basics about her new coverage. ... In any case, one cannot claim that a plan is ‘unaffordable’ when over the course of the year it will provide you with substantial savings.”
