The modern mass media's semipurposeful agenda is one of permanent revolution, permanent hysteria, and permanent chaos

Time to turn away from the flickering images and toward reality

The Mass Media is a roaring, grinding attention-grabbing machine which operates with no set purpose except to subvert, uncreate, mock and destroy. It does not matter what the media destroys. Pointless subversion is the point of the media, and the medium is the message.

Why are mass media entertainments NOT entertaining anymore?

The modern mass media mostly attract attention by evoking disgust, horror, fear, lust, fascination, repulsion, self-satisfaction, pity for others, self-pity, hero-worship, scape-goating...

Since almost everybody is already addicted to the Mass Media; just so long as a communication compels some kind of attention, then this works just as well as would providing entertainment. And since it is difficult to entertain people en masse and for long periods, in the modern Mass Media given up on entertainment in favour of merely getting attention and evoking a response; by any means...

KISS star Gene Simmons says sports reporters hold morally upright athletes like Tim Tebow to a different standard that those who find trouble wherever they go.

"It's interesting to me that media often picks on the good guys and lets the bad guys get a pass," says Simmons, the entrepreneurial rocker who recently expanded his empire to include a professional sports team.

"When you think about it," Simmons says, "why wouldn't we want somebody who's a family guy, who doesn't use expletives, who doesn't use drugs and booze, doesn't torture dogs, happens to believe in his God, Christianity -- what's the problem? That would be a stellar citizen."

Katrina: One of the Most Misreported Stories in American Journalism

They reported snipers firing at medical personnel. They reported that shots were fired at helicopters, halting evacuations from the Convention Center [in New Orleans].

They told of bodies being stacked there like cordwood. They reported roving gangs were preying on tourists and terrorizing the occupants of the Superdome, raping and killing.

They said children were victims of sexual assault, that one seven-year-old was raped and her throat was slit. They reported that sharks were plying the flooded streets of New Orleans.

Those reports were all wrong, and they contributed mightily to the public (mis)perception of the situation in New Orleans.

George Zimmerman’s libel suit against NBC dismissed

George Zimmerman was ruined by undue and unjust persecution due to the perverse manipulation of public opinion by the press and the justice department. Like most PC (political correctness) lies, this remains unpunished.

Blatant misrepresentations of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin‘s photos were only surpassed by biased media reporting, undue interference by none less than president Obama, illegal action by the prosecution (hiding of evidence), unpunished death treats and serious beatings to innocent’s under the guise of "This is for Trayvon".

Most of us are by now wise to a few things about American race riots.

There are some indications in Ferguson that the hustlers’ shtick is losing its power to manipulate the black community.

First, the media has a template that shapes the initial reports -- a template as false as it is incendiary. The slain young black man is always initially described as an honor student and a saint and is pictured as a very young, presumably fragile, boy. When the truth that he was something of a thug comes out and that he was quite a bit older and larger than pictured, the damage has already been done. ("Unarmed teenager" was over six feet tall and around 300 pounds.)

Second, the initial eyewitness accounts given by the press are fatally flawed or contradictory. In this case, the first account is from Dorian Johnson, who admitted only after the police release of a video of the event that he was an accomplice of Brown’s in a strong-arm robbery just minutes before.

Third, what the press describes as “civil rights protests” and “vigils” are unaccountably held in liquor and appliance stores and the looting and burning of the shops in the area are by some mysterious magical thinking supposed to show the moral rightness of the protesters’ cause.

Finally, Sharpton and Jackson, and Holder’s community agitators from the Department of Justice, succeed only in stirring up hatred and fattening the pockets of the bereaved and their lawyers at the expense of both the black communities they infest and the community as a whole.

Secretive Leftwing Progressive Journalist Network Discovered through Records Law

Gamechanger Salon

1,000-member secretive progressive journalist group uncovered
What is Gamechanger Salon?

According to the website Media Trackers , it’s a high-brow far left collective – “a secretive digital gathering of writers, opinion leaders, activists and political hands who share information, ideas and strategy via a closed Google group.”

Members of Gamechanger Salon – who are warned not to share their missives with outsiders – include reporters and editors at CNN, The Huffington Post, Reuters and even a former Fox News contributor. These mainstream media not only promote their appearances within the group, they are regularly fed a diet of progressive red meat from the icons of America’s liberal establishment: The AFL-CIO, SEIU, CODEPINK, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, Greenpeace, the Economic Policy Institute, Moveon.org and many others whose leaders are included within the group.

“The object of this group was to protect Barack Obama at all costs, and push progressive messaging around the country,” one of the sources explained. ”For your normal person, Gamechanger Salon sounds like some strange, forgettable thing – but these are the biggest movers and shakers in the nation. And the most hard core leftists in the nation.”
“The White House uses their talking points.”

What about Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton?
“She’d only get around thirty (percent),” one of our sources said.
Another said Clinton would “be lucky to break 20 percent” of Gamechanger Salon’s 1,000-plus membership.
Wow … so much for the notion that Clinton’s ascension to the Democratic nomination is a foregone conclusion.
So … is Gamechanger Salon driving any of the negative messages we’ve seen Clinton struggle to respond to recently?

Among those included on the membership list are:
Damon Silver, Policy Director for the AFL-CIO
Benjamin Joffe-Walk, Chief of Staff at Change.org
Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CODEPINK
Elizabeth Rose, Director of Communications at the Economic Policy Institute
Philip Radford, Executive Director of Greenpeace until earlier this year
Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL
Raven Brooks, Executive Director of Netroots Nation
Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee
Deirdre Schifeling, National Director Organizing & Electoral Campaigns for Planned Parenthood

The group’s policy manual directs members to abstain from forwarding emails to recipients outside the group. It does warn, however, that with 1,000-plus members, anyone emailing the group should not say anything “you wouldn’t want to be subpoenaed by a Grand Jury".

"The Environmental Projection Agency"

"Projection" is what most accusers of racism seem to be guilty of. ;)

Chris Matthews "projection": "We (I) can and should feel comfortable with a black president."

Holder has obsession with race...
“I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man.”
Holder has a lifelong, almost Sharpton-like, obsession with race.
If Holder has made up his mind about what happened in Ferguson that Saturday, fine. He is entitled to his opinion. But someone who has already decided officer Wilson’s actions are consistent with a racist police pattern he has observed personally should not be passing judgment on whether officer Wilson goes on trial for his life.
President Obama says he does not want to put “my thumb upon the scales” of justice. He should take Eric Holder’s thumb off.
