Hollywood Star Hates White People

In a wide-ranging interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “Hateful Eight” star Samuel L. Jackson bemoaned the fact that the two terrorists in San Bernardino who butchered 14  innocent people were not white.

“I can’t even tell you how much that day,” Jackson said in reference to San Bernardino, “I really wanted that to just be another, you know, crazy white dude[.]

Actor Sean Penn is under investigation by Mexican authorities after secretly meeting with mass murderer and Sinaloa Federation head Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Loera.

Penn made no effort to help authorities find ‘El Chapo’–even though he has played a major role in a violent drug war that has claimed up to 125,000 lives.

White Hollywood: "We're not racists"

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith, rapper Snoop Dogg, and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore have all joined Al Sharpton in calling for a boycott of the 88th Academy Awards airing February 28.

Spike Lee:  “until minorities are [in film studios’ boardrooms], the Oscar nominees will remain lily white.”

“When you have an industry where 40% of the theater-goers are people of color, but the representation [of] people of color in the Academy is much smaller, you have a situation that is offensive and insulting,” Sharpton said.

“Secondly, the reason why it’s so important to us is because the Oscars have always been considered the ultimate prize in American cinema and culture. We can not afford in an era that we can have a black in the White House, a black attorney general, but a black for two years or a brown for two years can’t get an Oscar nomination? There’s something totally contradictory about that.”

Dustin Hoffman: White Hollywood is guilty of "subliminal racism."

Hoffman’s comments echoed those of 12 Years a Slave actress Lupita Nyong’o, who commented that Academy voters are guilty of harboring an “unconscious prejudice” against black performers.

Bill Maher:

"This is the dirty little secret, is that most movies are made now with an eye to the foreign market, and Asians really are racist. … I’m just honest. But they are. They don’t want to see black people, generally, in their movies. So, that’s — the Hollywood executives are like. ‘We’re not racists. We just have to pretend we’re racist, because we’re capitalists.'”

The issue of "subliminal racism" is tearing Hollywood apart.

New rules for Academy members are an effort to push out older, white Academy voters in an effort to appease critics who have charged that the organization is racist

"I have news for you: older people who lived through the struggles for civil rights are way more sensitive to minority issues than young people who don’t understand what it was all about in the first place. It’s f—ing knee-jerk liberalism without taking into consideration what is fair."

"Obviously, it’s a thinly-veiled ploy to kick out older white contributors — the backbone of the industry — to make way for younger, “politically-correct” voters."

Jennifer Lopez

The former star has made millions performing in private concerts in countries such as TurkmenistanUzbekistan and Azerbaijan—where LGBT rights aren’t exactly a top priority.

Enrique Iglesias

Iglesias recently performed—with J-Lo and Sting—at the wedding of a Russia oil tycoon’s son in Moscow. “LGBT-friendly” would be a poor way to describe Russia.

Sting

Sting doesn’t even care. He thinks cultural boycotts are “pointless gestures,” and has made millions performing for dubious figures such as the president of Uzbekistan.

Bryan Adams

Adams, who is bravely boycotting Mississippi on moral grounds, played a show in Egypt just last month, and complained when customs officials scribbled on his guitar. Egyptian authorities recently arrested two gay men for “distributing pornographic material” after a video of their wedding surfaced online.

Kanye West

Yeezy pocketed a cool $3 million to perform at the 2013 wedding of the grandson of Kazakhstan’s strongman dictator, Nursultan Nazarbayev. The country has an abysmal human rights record, especially when it comes to LGBT rights.

Nicki Minaj

Minaj ignored pleas from the Human Rights Foundation to cancel a private concert in Angola in December 2015. Minaj even posed for a photo with the daughter of repressive dictator José Eduardo dos Santos. Being gay in Angola is punishable by hard labor.

Why Hollywood is dying

I might be more sympathetic to Hollywood's plight if I had any respect left for the entertainment industry but it deserves to hit bottom considering the trash it keeps churning out.

So what went wrong? Creativity is a rare commodity in the studios today and one has to wonder if the alleged heavy use of drugs in LaLa land is behind this drought of originality. Everything coming out now is a remake of a former blockbuster only the characters' ethnicity or gender is changed to promote diversity.

So the Ghostbusters are now all women. Whoopedoo- and having one of them be the stereotypical angry black woman is the typical mindset of the closeted racist misogyny of major studios.
